Privacy policy

This policy explains what data FraguaGym uses, why, who it is shared with, and how you can access or delete it. The data controller is FraguaSoft (Argentina). For any question, write to soporte@fraguasoft.com.
What data we use
- What you log in the app: your profile (age, sex, height, weight, goals), workouts and sets, meals and their photos, weight and measurements, sleep, walks and GPS outings (route, distance and pace).
- Health Connect (Android), only if you allow it: steps, workouts from other apps with their distance and calories, sleep, weight and body composition (body fat and lean mass). We can also write what you log in the app to Health Connect.
- Your account, if you create one: your email.
- Subscription: your subscription status and the codes you redeem. Payment details are handled by Google Play; we never see them.
This includes health data, which the law treats as sensitive. We use it only with your consent and only for the app's features.
Why we use it
- To show your progress, work out your calorie and activity targets, and suggest loads and routines.
- To sync your data across your devices, when sync is on.
- To answer the coach and the AI features, when you use them.
We don't sell your data, don't use it for advertising, and don't share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Where it is stored
What you log is stored on your phone first. If you have an account with sync on, it is also stored on our servers so you have it on your other devices. Data travels encrypted.
Who it is shared with
Only with providers that run the service for us and process the data on our behalf:
- Supabase: database, accounts and files.
- PowerSync: sync across devices.
- The AI provider: receives only what each request needs (for example your routine, your meals and your recent activity) and doesn't use it to train its models.
- RevenueCat and Google Play: subscription status.
- The email provider: to send your sign-in code.
- Open Food Facts: when you search for a product or scan a barcode, the search goes from your phone and carries no data about you.
Some of these providers process data outside Argentina. By using those features you accept that transfer, under the protections of their contracts.
Health Connect
What we read from Health Connect is used only to show your activity, adjust your targets and give you recommendations inside the app. We don't use it for advertising or sell it, and we only share it with the providers above to deliver those features. Our use of this data follows the Health Connect data use policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
As long as you have an account. If you delete it, we delete your data and photos from our servers; backups are removed within 30 days. Without an account, your data lives only on your phone and is removed when you uninstall the app.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export and delete your data from the app (Settings) or by writing to us. You can withdraw your consent at any time, from Settings or from your phone's permissions. You can also file a complaint with Argentina's data protection authority (AAIP).
To delete your account without the app, go to delete your account.
Age
FraguaGym is for people 18 and older.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
